The Bradford Ski Team welcomes new members.  We are a youth alpine race club  that gives skiers grades 1-12 an opportunity to train and compete in slalom and giant slalom courses against skiers from other local clubs.  BST offers different levels of competition.  No prior race experience is required; however, skiers must be able to get on and off a chair lift unassisted and ski the terrain at Ski Bradford safely and with a degree of comfort.

BST offers entry level competition by participating in the Eastern Mass Buddy Werner League, and an optional higher level of competition by attending select Tri-State and USSA open races in Southern New Hampshire. BST is family oriented and is great for racers of all levels.

Where and When: The team trains at Ski Bradford.  Racers age 9 years and older train every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30pm, mid-December through February.  Racers 8 and under train Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm.

BWL races are held on Sunday mornings January thru March.  Racers are not obligated to attend every practice or race, but must attend at least three BWL races to compete in the EMBWL Championship Race.  In addition, our more experienced racers have the option to participate in select Tri-State races in Eastern Massachusetts and USSA Open races held in Southern New Hampshire.

BST is a volunteer run organization and parents/guardians are asked to help with various activities throughout the season and at scheduled home races.

Skiers compete in age groups based on their age as of December 31, 2011.  The age groups are 8 years old and under (J6), 9 & 10 year olds (J5), 11 & 12 year olds (J4), 13 & 14 year olds (J3) and 15 years and over (J2).
